Let me love you baby,
You're drivin' my poor heart crazy.
Let me love you baby,
You're drivin' my poor heart crazy.
When I'm with you woman,
My whole life seems so hazy.
Baby, when you walk,
You shake just like a willow tree?
Baby, when you walk you know what?
You shake just like a willow tree.
Ooh-ee baby, you sure look so good to me.
Baby when you walk,
You shake like a willow tree.
Baby when you walk,
You shake like a willow tree.
And ooh-ee baby, you sure look so good to me.
Let me love you baby,
Love you baby.
Know, I know, I know.
Let me love you baby.
Ah you let me love you ... What you got.
Let me love you baby.
Love you baby.
Any old way you choose it.
I don't mind what time you call, (Ah, ah, yeah)
You're drivin' my poor heart crazy.
Let me love you baby.
Love you baby.
Early in the mornin' time.
Later in the evenin'.
Let me love you baby,
You're drivin' my poor heart ... crazy.

Walk Away My Blues
Words and Music: Stephen Dees/Victor Wainwright
When opposing views collide, blow up in your face.
Crazy people screamin’ and shoutin’ all over the place, and tell you what to do and who you should be. [That don’t get it with me]
I put on my walkin’ shoes and do what comes naturally.
Turn around walk away I don’t hear what they say.
Turn around walk away take it easy for a change.
Turn around start walkin’, walk away my blues.
I won’t live inside a prison, built by society,
Where everybody’s got your number and I want my privacy!
I won’t abide the rude behavior, of people talking out the sides of their mouth (That I can do without)
I’ve got a little secret, I’m taking me a different route [ain’t no doubt]
Turn around walk away I don’t hear what they say.
Turn around walk away take it easy for a change.
Turn around start walkin’, walk away my blues.
It’s so sad to bear witness, to those lost in the dark
Lighten up your life, take a stroll through the park
Avoid all the confusion, and leave all your troubles behind
(Change your state of mind)
Put one foot in front the other…..move on down the line
Chorus out…

Water Into Wine
Words and Music: Dyer Davis
I’ve been petrified by silence
The writing’s on the wall
I’ve got the beast right behind me
Just to watch me fall
I’ve been terrified by violence
Heaven hear me call
I’ve got an angel right beside me
To catch me when I fall
I can sell my soul or I can
Drink his blood, I can
Where is the lord to turn my water into wine
I can sell my soul or I can
Drink his blood, I can
Where is the lord to turn my water into wine
I’ve been on the road for days now
Tryin’ to get home
I’ve got my woman right beside me, yeah
To catch me when I fall
To catch me when I fall
I can sell my soul or I can
Drink his blood, I can
Where is the lord to turn my water into wine
I can sell my soul or I can
Drink his blood, I can
Where is the lord to turn my water into wine
Water into wine
Water into wine
(SOLO)
Sell my soul or I can
Drink his blood, I can
Where is the lord to turn my water into wine
Sell my soul or I can
Drink his blood, I can
Where is the lord to turn my water into wine
Water into wine
Water into wine

Cryin' Shame
Words and Music: Billy Chapin/Stephen Dees/Dyer Davis
I’m still lickin’ my wounds from a broken heart
I’m all alone living in the dark
The woman I love she ain’t the same
She’s watching my life go up in flames
When I need somebody, I still call her name it’s a cryin’ shame
Now my love is in vain I’ll never be the same am I the one to blame?
I saw her passing by on my fall from grace
It’s not the same I see it in her face
This pain in my chest is getting worse
The look of love has become a curse
When I need somebody, I still call her name it’s a cryin’ shame
Now my love is in vain I’ll never be the same am I the one to blame?
It’s a cryin’ shame
I feel so empty lately, like there’s nothin’ left to lose
Well, I thought her love would save me, but she gave me the blues
What a shame
Weepin’ and moanin’ won’t do me no goodI’d change the past if I only could
From where I stand, she ain’t got a clue
Of all the damage she put me through
When I need somebody, I still call her name it’s a cryin’ shame
Now my love is in vain I’ll never be the same am I the one to blame?
It’s a cryin’ shame

Train Wreck
Words and Music: Billy Chapin/Stephen Dees/Dyer Davis
I’ve been put down hard and screaming and I’m way past believing is there a chance for you and me in this messed up century.
I’m a train wreck over you
A one-way ticket to bad news
I’m a train wreck over you
Crash and burn we’ll never learn
I’m a train wreck yes, I am
Stop blowin’ all that smoke and talkin’ your smack we’ve heard it all before
we ain’t going back. Rattle the cages the same old song how long can this go on?
I’m a train wreck over you
A one-way ticket to bad news
I’m a train wreck over you
Crash and burn we’ll never learn
From coast-to-coast station to station talking heads, they ghost the nation
drop the curtain and fade to black we’ve got to get this engine back on track.
I’m a train wreck over you
A one-way ticket to bad news
I’m a train wreck over you
Crash and burn we’ll never learn
Train wreck over you…
Crash and burn we’ll never learn

Lifting Up My Soul
Words & Music: Stephen Dees
Liftin’ up my soul that’s what you do,
when I get lonely, downhearted and blue
I can count on you, you can count on me too
That’s what we do, for each other, no other
Liftin’ up my soul, hey baby
Keep on liftin’ up my soul.
The worlds in a whole lot of trouble.
And lately I’m seeing double.
The way we treat each other it’s a crime, but I can always look to you, you’re my lifeline.
Liftin’ up my soul that’s what you do,
when I get lonely, downhearted and blue
I can count on you, you can count on me too
It’s what we do, for each other, no other
You’re liftin’ up my soul, hey baby
Keep on liftin’ up my soul.
People sellin’ lies and I’m not buyin”.
Hush your mouth stop all that cryin’.
There’s only one fact that I know to be true
Your sweet tender love will always pull me through
Liftin’ up my soul ……. (Chorus) out….

Long Way to Go feat. Victor Wainwright
Words & Music: Stephen Dees
Moses was a holy man; led his people to the promise land
40 years of desert sand; pain and misery
Moses never lost his faith, though the hour was getting late
Down a long hard road and we still have a long way to go.
See the soul of Abraham, in the eyes of a righteous man,
God’s children all take a hand, join in revelry
Hallelujah sound the call, house divided will surely fall
Down a long hard road and we still have a long way to go.
History of sorrows, gonna change tomorrow someday
We've gotta change.
We will overcome if we let love guide the way.
Brother King was a preacher man; drew the line, made a stand
Had a dream all men could live, in peace and brotherhood
Gave his life for what he believed, freedom, justice, equality
Down a long hard road, and we still have a long way to go.
Long long way to go!
History of sorrows, gonna change tomorrow someday
We’ve got to make a change. Yes, we do.
And we will overcome if we let love guide the way.
See the soul of Abraham, in the eyes of a righteous man,
God’s children all take a hand, join in revelry
Hallelujah sound the call, a house divided will surely fall
Down a long hard road and we still have a long way to go.
Down a long hard road and we still have a long way to go… Long Way.

Wind is Gonna Change
Words & Music: Dyer Davis
Leaves are falling
In many shades of brown
Grace my feet as they tumble down
The judge will stare at me while shamefully I make my plea
With both feet on the ground
But the wind is gonna change
Stress in my head’s got me rearranged
Watch as the faces around me fade
Oh, the wind is gonna change
The wind is gonna change
Something’s feeling strange
Oh, the wind is gonna change
Oh
I hear the melodies of wind between the shaken trees
Watch the sun settle down
I hear the jury laugh as they take things I can’t get back
The want me under ground
But the wind is gonna change
Stress in my head’s got me rearranged
Watch as the faces around me fade
Oh, the wind is gonna change
Oh, the wind is gonna change
Something’s feeling strange
Oh, the wind is gonna change
Oh, Something’s feeling strange
Oh, the wind is gonna change
Oh, sure gonna change
The judge let out a sigh and as for me I said goodbye
To the life I leave behind
My eyes turn to the sky hoping for a quick reply
Of which I never find
But the wind is gonna change
Stress in my head’s got me rearranged
Watch as the faces around me fade
Oh, the wind is gonna change
Oh, the wind is gonna change
Something’s feeling strange
The wind is gonna change
Something’s something’s something’s feelin’ strange
The wind is gonna change
Oh, it’s gonna change
The wind is gonna change

Dog Bites Back
Words: Stephen Dees
Music: Stephen Dees/Billy Chapin
Hey boss man you run this town
With fear and lies you bring a good man down
You treat em’ like a dog, a fish on a hook
Man, you ain’t nothing but a punk ass crook
When you beat a dog down, and you chain him to a tree
He’s bound to bite you back, just you wait and see
If you try to break his will, and bring him to his knees
He’s gonna bite you back, you better let that dog be.
Rust on the razor, blood on the whip
You do anything to tighten your grip
Take all you can, but it’s never enough
Steal the last coin from a blind man’s cup
When you beat a dog down, and you chain him to a tree
He’s bound to bite you back, just you wait and see
If you try to break his will, and bring him to his knees
He’s gonna bite you back, you better let that dog be.
Meats gonna spoil if you leave it in the heat
No bones about it, see the bodies in the street
You’re cruel and you’re heartless, you don’t give a damn
A one-eyed jack with an iron hand
Chorus out…

Angels Get the Blues
Words and Music by: Stan Lynch/Billy Chapin/Stephen Dees
You know that this time I’ll be leaving
You can’t take it one more time
You thought my love would always be there
A good man is so hard to find
Heaven knows that I’m not worthy
You’re an angel and I’m a fool
I care too much to let you suffer
I didn’t mean to be so cruel
Even angels get the blues
I’ve seen them cry I don’t know why they care the way they do
They don’t give up they love too much and have so much to lose
Even angels get the blues
I always knew that I would hurt you
I could have done better from the start
You were the one that I could count on
I left you alone with a broken heart
Even angels get the blues
I’ve seen them cry I don’t know why they care the way they do
They don’t give up they trust in love and have so much to lose
Even angels get the blues
Save yourself my wounded angel I am not the one you need
Save yourself my wounded angel from the devil that’s in me
Even angels get the blues
I’ve seen them cry I don’t know why they care the way they do
They don’t give up they trust in love and have so much to lose
Even angels get the blues
Even angels get the blues
I’ve seen them cry I don’t know why they care the way they do
They walk a straight and narrow path I’ve broken all the rules
Even angels get the blues
Even angels get the blues

These Walls
Words and Music: Dyer Davis
Waking up in the morning
Hoping for a call
Ease my mind and have a smoke
It aint no big cigar, oh no
Take a ride I’m humming
Same old spooky soul
I would take a trip down south
And dream of growing old
But I worry I can’t let it be, Oh no
Cause something’s got a hold of me
These walls are standing tall
I cant climb em’ all
These walls have got to fall, I know
these walls are standing tall
I cant fight at all
These walls have got to fall, I know
I remember yesterday
Same as today
Throwing hooks and telling lies
Ive got some debt to pay
Im left with a broken guitar, and
More bad news
Head down and let it rain
The end is coming soon
These walls are doggin’ me
Well I’m trying but they won’t let me be
These walls are standing tall
I cant climb em’ all
These walls have got to fall, I know
these walls are standing tall
I cant fight at all
These walls have got to fall, I know
Well something’s got a hold on me
Well I’m trying but they just won’t let me be
(SOLO)
These walls are standing tall
I cant climb em’ all
These walls have got to fall, I know
these walls are standing tall
I cant fight at all
These walls have got to fall, I know

Don't Tell My Mother
Words and Music: Dyer Davis
Disagree when we don’t align
I see the end of the line
Make believe that what was never left
I’ll be leaving as soon as the sun sets
But I have just one request, oh
Don’t tell my mother when I’m gone
Not if, but when the cards fall
I don’t wanna hear that I was wrong
Don’t tell my mother when I’m gone
Don’t tell my mother
Forget the times that I made her weep
Let me see what its like to be free
Forget the seeds she planted here for me
Let me see what it’s like to be free
But I have just one request, oh
Don’t tell my mother when I’m gone
Not if, but when the cards fall
I don’t wanna hear that I was wrong
Don’t tell my mother when I’m gone
Don’t tell my mother
(SOLO)
But I have just one request, oh
Don’t tell my mother when I’m gone
Not if, but when the cards fall
I don’t wanna hear that I was wrong, oh no no
Don’t tell my mother when I’m gone
Don’t tell my mother when I’m gone
Don’t tell my mother when I’m gone
Don’t tell my mother when I’m gone

AKA
Words: Stephen Dees, Dyer Davis
Music: Stephen Dees
Some people know me as a lost cause
Think that I’m always up to no good
I wish I could change their minds
I’m feel misunderstood, yeah
I once was lost but that was then
A coin I tossed that left me broken
But I clawed my way out of the grave that I made
I hope in time the pain I caused will heal
Can’t you see the change in me is real
I’m not the man I was
I left him in the dust
I do admit I was a sinner
Didn’t care what became of me
But in the end, I got my closure
I’ll never be the same
By any other name
I’m not the man I was
No, I’m not that man
I hope in time the pain I caused will heal
Can’t you see the change in me is real
I’m not the man I was
I left him in the dust
No, I’m not the man I was
Broken memories turn to rust
That was then it was yesterday got myself a new AKA
Begin again or fade away, got myself a new AKA
That was then it was yesterday got myself a new AKA
Begin again or fade away, got myself a new AKA
Nah nah nah nah…
